The second edition is the same, with with an alternative label, signed by Bogumil Rychlak. Compared to the first edition it has been tweaked with the colour greener and the recipe slightly changed.

Today we welcome an absinthe that made history in the United States. Lucid certainly made an impression (not just the yellow eyes), and it's now available from us to delivery the world-over.

We were already impressed by the absinthes from Mr DuVallon, in the Val-de-Travers, Switzerland: the Veuve Verte and Absinthe DuVallon are delicious. Recently the exquisite Sevil Absinthe has been added to the family, and in our opinion surpasses all other Swiss absinthes, not something we say lightly.

It’s a bit difficult to find a Czech absinthe that can compete with any of the French or Swiss absinthes in terms of quality and taste… with a few exceptions.

And Martin Zufanek is there to raise the standards. Supported by Stefano Rossoni, the La Grenouille creator, he has produced a wonderful and delicious absinthe, giving new colours to the Czech Republic!


Martin also distilled recently the latest batch from the St. Antoine absinthe. Unlike the previous versions, this one has a wine alcohol base, for the first and last time, a limited batch just for the pleasure of the St. Antoine lovers.

Finally, here are the latest absinthes from La Fée on RueVerte. It took us a bit of time before adding them to our catalogue but following wishes from some of you, we have finally decided to grab them.

With a Swiss and a French versions, La Fée managers have chosen to show us two different savoir-faire from two different excellent distillers, on one side the Artemisia-Bugnon distillery (Switzerland) and on the other side the Guy distillery (France).

We are pleased to introduce you a brand new creation from Mr Duvallon, and we all know about the superb quality of his absinthes already.

This one, specially made for the French market (but also available in other countries), won the Absinthiades 2010 Silver Spoon.

In short, an absinthe that perfectly suits its creator: admirable!

No need to introduce the Guy distillery anymore, all absinthe connoisseurs know its very famous François Guy absinthe already, a great example of consistency since 2001.

Many were however feeling sorry seeing that the distillery was not offering more products out of their alembics, and we had to wait for the 10th Pontarlier Absinthiades to see our wishes granted.

Even if the absinthe might benefit from a bit of oxygenation, it is already remarkable. Furthermore, it is a limited edition, signed by François Guy himself.
