Description of the products :
La Valote Martin l’Originale
La Valote Martin l’Originale reveals sweetness and very herbaceous flavours. A very elegant “Bleue”.

After La Valote Martin, Mr Martin offers a very interesting version of this absinthe with a higher level of alcohol.
It is distilled by a man concerned about perpetuating the Green Fairy’s myth, and who wants to guarantee a traditionally produced absinthe.

A magnificent version with great complexity of aromas!

La P\'tite
La P’tite absinthe is mellow and beautifully well-balanced. A high quality “Bleue”.

It is produced from an original recipe, already used illegally before legalisation. This recipe has been updated since it was developed in 1898.
La P’tite is distilled by an artisan in old clandestine stills.
It is based on 12 plants grown and carefully selected in the Val-de-Travers.

An absinthe with character!

La Clandestine
La Clandestine absinthe reveals a very complex aromatic palate and a subtly bitter finish.
Without doubt, this is one of the best La Bleue absinthes around.

Awarded the gold medal several times in contests, La Clandestine is distilled according to a recipe from 1935 including more than 10 plants.
This is one of the first absinthes to be distilled in the Val-de-Travers, the cradle of absinthe distillation. Its traditional, artisanal production uses only natural ingredients.

An intensely enjoyable discovery!

La Capricieuse
La Capricieuse reveals a remarkable aromatic palette and a delicate final bitterness.
A “Bleue” full of complexity.

Made with more than 10 plants, this absinthe is issued from the same recipe as its sister la Clandestine.
With a higher level of alcohol, la Capricieuse has is less mellow but reveals more aromas.
It is one of the first absinthes distilled in the Val-de-Travers, cradle of this drink’s distillation. Its traditional production uses only natural products.

For amateurs of strong emotions!

La Valote Bovet
La Valote Bovet is very mellow and nicely balanced. A high quality absinthe worthy of the best “Bleues”.

It is distilled by a man concerned about perpetuating the Green Fairy’s myth, and who wants to guarantee a traditionally produced absinthe.

For traditional absinthe amateurs!

Feuille
The pleasing outline of this spoon is a leaf, but the beauty is in the detail as well as the shape: the elegant form of a wormwood plant, Artemisia Absinthium, is represented as a cutout shape in the centre of the spoon.

I had never tried absinthe before so I wanted to try a few different kinds. I found out that I like it quite a bit. I just have to narrow down what my next order will be. I also wanted future buyers to know that this comes with cute little wrapped sugar cubes! So it has everything you need and would make a great gift.
