note anis 3 note amertume 2 note complexite 4
note rueverte 8 La Ptite absinthe is mellow and beautifully well-balanced. A high quality “Bleue”.

It is produced from an original recipe, already used illegally before legalisation. This recipe has been updated since it was developed in 1898.
La P’tite is distilled by an artisan in old clandestine stills.
It is based on 12 plants grown and carefully selected in the Val-de-Travers.

An absinthe with character!

Nose : Evokes precise anise and fennel scents (typical of Swiss absinthes) on a grand wormwood background.

Paladar : Fresh and well-balanced. It reveals fruity notes (fennel) with an important mellowness and a slight bitterness.

Finish : Good length. Marked by a delicate bitterness.
La Ptite absinthe is distilled by the only female Swiss distiller: Gaudentia Persoz.
Gaudentia Persoz distillery is part of the Absinthe’s Artisans cooperative society. It is based in Fleurier in the Val-de-Travers, where the true origins of absinthe are to be found. It is a family firm that works traditionally.
- At first, savour La P’tite without any sugar. Then according to your taste, add some eventually.

- For one measure of absinthe (3cl), add 2 to 5 measure of fresh water.

The most civilized of my purchase. That is not to say that it doesn't pack a punch.

I just had a glass of La P'tite...

Indeed it's a high quality La Bleue. La P'tite is mellow absinthe with strong character; all flavors and aromas are discrete but well defined. Louche is above average, good.

Anise, Fennel and Wormwood amounts are well-balanced to create a unique taste. Nice finish, with light-but-controlled bitterness. This absinthe is worth the price, a must-have in every absinthe bar.

My favorite Swiss LaBleue. Very aromatic and floral. Perfectly clean. Well distilled. Very well done.
