La Ptite absinthe is mellow and beautifully well-balanced. A high quality “Bleue”.
It is produced from an original recipe, already used illegally before legalisation. This recipe has been updated since it was developed in 1898.
La P’tite is distilled by an artisan in old clandestine stills.
It is based on 12 plants grown and carefully selected in the Val-de-Travers.
An absinthe with character!
Nose : Evokes precise anise and fennel scents (typical of Swiss absinthes) on a grand wormwood background.
Paladar : Fresh and well-balanced. It reveals fruity notes (fennel) with an important mellowness and a slight bitterness.
Finish : Good length. Marked by a delicate bitterness.
Gaudentia Persoz distillery is part of the Absinthe’s Artisans cooperative society. It is based in Fleurier in the Val-de-Travers, where the true origins of absinthe are to be found. It is a family firm that works traditionally.
