Absinthe Bairnsfather Bitter 55% - 1L
Very herbaceous, the Bairnsfather Bitter is an entirely natural Czech absinthe. It contains fennel, coriander and other herbs and spices. The absinthe Bairnsfather Bitter is entirely handmade, from the maceration with alcohol and filtration, to the bottle filling and labeling. Its very green color is obtained naturally from a long maceration of herbs. Very low in anise, very herbaceous, and very bitter, that's what our customers claims about the Bairnsfather Bitter.
Did you know?
- As it is a custom in the Czech Republic, the absinthe Bairnsfather Bitter contains only very little anise. That is why the addition of water provokes no louche action. It is also the reason why we classified this absinthe in the “anise free” category.
- The absinthe Bairnsfather is the subsitute of the absinthe Excelsior Edition Absinthe created by Mr Martin Sebor. The latter was never commercialised because of the loss of its creator.

The Bairnsfather distillery is located in the Czech Republic and was founded in 1991, when, due to changes in legislation, aspiring Czech entrepreneurs were able to launch companies outside of the state run economy. The Bairnsfather products are macerated and bottled without distillation.
