- Alain Aurregio, heir of the Lemercier distillery, had not commercialized any new product since 2004 when the Abisinthe Amer 72 came out. This is why the absinthe Coeur d'Absinthe - Double Distillation is even more interesting !
- During the Belle Epoque, after Pontarlier, Fougerolles had the highest number of producers of absinthe. Sometimes some of the casks used in Fougerolles were sent to Pontarlier to cover their needs.
Lemercier distillery is a family firm founded in 1811. It has always been in the hands of the founder, Nicolas Desle Lemercier's family.

My favourite absinthe. I love it. Really sweet and fine, a great taste of anise and wormwood.
