Delicious taste; not overly bitter. Long, smooth finish. Pleasant on the nose. Will purchase again.

First and foremost, this company is a solid, trustworthy company to order from. Five stars right there. Lots of information, friendly service and a selection of absinthe that seems surreal.

Mata Hari for me is a drink that tastes not all that great but its effects are hands down something to be experienced.

This was the second bottle I purchased after a fun week in New Orleans, becoming fascinated with absinthe.
A great first step into the world of absinthe: It is available in America, authentic and not terribly expensive (the label is also pretty cool.)
It has a good colour, and a fresh, grassy nose. It louches quite nice and even has a hint of blue at 3-1. Very little anise, it really continues with the light, fresh, sweet and grassy flavor. Not very perfumed, nor does the scent really fill the room. The bitterness is pleasant and far from overpowering. After the third glass, the wormwood is somewhat detectable.
I don't believe I would purchase it again, but it was very enjoyable and easy to drink. No regrets, considering the price.
And the empty is a great souvenir from a great trip to New Orleans!
