The Montana 55 is typically spanish. It is characterized by very pronounced notes of lemonny melissa.

It reveals a light bitterness and very present anise notes. The lemonny taste and the mellowness of the Montana 55 make it a fresh absinthe that reminds one of the sun.

With a good quality for its value, it is one of the best spanish absinthes !

This absinthe is very artificial in color, aroma and flavor but it is not bad.
It's better than Pernod by far! The only reason to buy Pernod is to get that awesome spoon
which I wish some awesome website would sell separately so I can have it without having to waist
60 bucks on a bottle of bad absinthe... wink wink nudge nudge say no more ;)
This one is a great in-between absinthe, I like to have a glass of top shelf stuff (such as any absinthe Ted Breaux has anything to do with) (seriously if you see the name Ted Breaux, Jade or Combier don't think, buy!)
and then drink a glass of absinthe montana next so my good stuff lasts longer.
This absinthe is on the fence, it's not amazing but not bad. Worth the price.

One of the cheaper absinthes, but for me it is one of my favorites. This and Lasala I could drink every day. The lemony fruitiness makes for a refreshing beverage chilled on ice. So many swear about distilled absinthe being the best, but I swear more flavor comes from these Spanish mixes of essences.
