Strong and complex, this absinthe is made from marigold flowers.

It reveals fruity flavours and there is slightly more alcohol present than in the other versions of Neuzeller. The spicy taste mixed with marigold flower flavour, is what make this absinthe so surprising.

Perfect marigold taste...A little alcohol forward, but not off-putting by any means...Beautiful yellow-green louche. Definitely leaves me craving another bottle.

The taste is very medication-like. The louche is thin and it goes very translucent. Bought this once and once is enough. If you're into the WTF? kind of absinthes, then go for it.

Maybe I'm being biased because this is the first absinthe I've tried, but this is really good. I used a sugar cube provided by absinthes.com and did the "ritual", i used 1 part absinthe and 2 parts water and wow... For such a high alcohol content this barely has any bite and it actually tastes good. The black licorice taste is prominent, which is quite pleasurable. Great taste for the price, will be ordering more soon.
