- Calendula is the Latin name for Worry (the flower)
- Nico Petri has been distilling absinthes for the Neuzeller distillery since 2003. He is at the origin of many of its creations. He uses different flowers to give three of the Neuzellers absinthes their colour, added to their natural colour. This unique colouration method brings much roundness.
Neuzeller distillery's know-how goes back as far as 1589.
In 1997, the old buildings and installations could be reused. They also renewed the still. The old distillery tradition was reborn and today offers its visitors a great attraction.
- At first, savour Neuzeller Calendula with half a piece of sugar. Then, add more or less according to your taste.
- For one measure of absinthe (3cl), add 2 to 5 measures of fresh water.
