Francois Guy, the producer of Sapont, combines tradition and the modern age with this unique liqueur – his ancestors would be honoured.

A cocktail with the same name, made from sapin liqueur and Pontarlier Anis, inspired Francois Guy to produce the Sapont. This liqueur contains Pontarlier Anis à l'Ancienne, sapin liqueur, sapin sirup and an infusion of fresh fir buds. Thanks to a well balanced ratio of all these ingredients, a delicious liqueur has resulted. The fresh flavours of fir tree buds along with distilled green anise make for a wonderful combination.

For a refreshing cocktail, put together in the shortest of time, mix a measure of Sapont with chilled water. Beautiful opalescent green clouds will appear in your glass. A true delight at any time of the year.

The Sapont won at the Concours général agricole 2016, the silver medal in the category "Anise".

Distillery Pierre Guy, France

Founded by Armand Guy, this absinthe distillery is the last family-owned business in Pontarlier, where four generations of distillers have practised their art since 1890.

In addition to absinthe and Pontarlier-Anis, the Guy distillery also produces traditional liqueurs, eaux-de-vie, aperitifs, and preserved fruits.
