The Absinthe Encyclopedia, subtitled - A Guide to the Lost World of Absinthe and La Fée Verte - is the definitive guide to the history of absinthe.

The Absinthe Encyclopaedia covers everything from the early origins of absinthe, absinthes rise to popularity, and its eventual downfall and prohibition around the world. The Encyclopedia also explains how absinthe should be prepared and served, and also how high quality absinthes are distilled and coloured.

This wonderfully rich, colour hardback book makes a delightful coffee-table book due to its high proportion of full colour illustrations and images of antique absinthe brands' artwork and posters. Equally, it is the result of serious research and is a rewarding read in its own right.

A beautiful and comprehensive tome. Recommended.

A must have volume if you are into your absinthe antiques. Extremely well put together with excellent photographs and text.
Yes a little on the expensive side but worth every penny.
