OMFG is produced by the Zufanek distillery, located in beautiful surroundings at the foot of the White Carpathian Mountains, in the Czech Republic. The distillery is family owned and operated, making fruit brandies, liqueurs, and absinthe. The Zufaneks' expert knowledge of absinthe-making was the perfect qualification to be able to create a top-quality gin, drawing on many of the same skills: from the choice of spirit used as a foundation, to the all-important sourcing of superior-quality botanicals. The Zufanek family cultivates the majority of the fruit, herbs and other plants necessary for their spirits on their own orchards. The Zufanek estate has received organic-certified status for their 100% natural production.
Enjoy this gin alone over ice or with tonic. Make sure the tonic is worthy of being mixed with this exceptional spirit.
The Zufanek Distillery was founded in 2000. At first, the family focused on the production of honey and fruit based liqueurs. In 2008, Martin started to distill absinthe and the St. Antoine was the first one of this distillery. Shortly after the launch of St. Antoine, Martin created La Grenouille, and absinthe Mead Base.
What's special about this distillery is that all fruit used for the production of their spirits are cultivated on their own orchards. Most of the herbs used for the absinthes are also grown by the Zufanek family themselves. This is why it's not surprising that the distillery received an organic certificate. Their mission is: 100% natural products.
