The name OMFG means Oh My Finest Gin, an apt name for this unique gin.

Every year Martin Zufanek distills a new charge of OMFG, each time including a one off ‘guest-botanical’.
What makes OMFG 2017 special is catnip. Yes, Nepeta Cataria, the plant that cats love to rub themselves on and get high, is in this gin. We cannot promise the same effect for humans consuming the gin, however catnip contains essential oils also found in citrus fruits, and this fits in perfectly with OMFG’s other aromas.

OMFG is a special supercharged version of Martin’s wildly successful OMG Gin.

The catnip gives OMFG 2017 a wonderful citrus note which combines wonderfully with the other herbal notes present.

Martin uses a different ‘guest-botanical’ each year, ensuring each version of OMFG remains unique. In past years, it has been Ginko leaves (OMFG 2016), Hougari frankincense from Oman (2015) and Mexican damiana (2014).

Get your hands on a bottle while you can: as each batch is a one-off, when it’s gone, it’s gone. The next edition will be available in 2018, with a completely different special ingredient (Martin is keeping his lips sealed as to what that will be).

Zufanek, Czech Republic

The Zufanek Distillery was founded in 2000. At first, the family focused on the production of honey and fruit based liqueurs. In 2008, Martin started to distill absinthe and the St. Antoine was the first one of this distillery. Shortly after the launch of St. Antoine, Martin created La Grenouille, and absinthe Mead Base.

What's special about this distillery is that all fruit used for the production of their spirits are cultivated on their own orchards. Most of the herbs used for the absinthes are also grown by the Zufanek family themselves.

Their mission is: 100% natural products.
