Description of the products

La Maison Fontaine is an ultra premium absinthe, handcrafted amongst the beautiful Jura Mountains in Pontarlier.

When you discover the absinthe capital of the world, Pontarlier (France), has 200 years of Absinthe heritage and the world's oldest absinthe stills, there's only one thing to do – handcraft a new ultra premium Absinthe.

La Maison Fontaine has been masterfully refined using 15 natural herbs. Some are kept secret, others we're happy to shout about – notably, the world-renowned Pontarlier-grown Grande Absinthe, which together with green anise and fennel is the “holy trinity” of any real Absinthe.

An exceptional traditional Absinthe, a stimulating and refreshing drink.

La Maison Fontaine Blanche was awarded the Grand Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2016

Colour: Clear.

Louche: Cloud-white with some blue tints. The louche is beautiful to watch as it forms, neither too quickly, nor too slow.

Aroma: Beautiful green anise and the distinctive flowery smell of Pontarlier wormwood, like an alpine meadow in spring.

Taste: Sweet and refreshing green anise, intense wormwood and rich fennel, the holy trinity in perfect harmony. Notes of lemon and peppermint in the background, along with other tasty herbals and florals.

Finish: Velvety and smooth, wonderful, the finish follows the aroma and taste.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to discover this very special absinthe today!

Absinthe Sevil is a cult classic, loved by absintheurs the world over. This has to be Monsieur DuVallon's best bleue, surpassing almost all Swiss absinthe in quality.

The meaning of the name Sevil is 'beloved', and this is very appropriate considering the love and attention DuVallon gives to this absinthe, making it in such small quantities that he can ensure the quality is the very best possible.

DuVallon demonstrates his immense distilling talent by adding a small amount of wine alcohol - an exotic ingredient in the Val-de-Travers - to the absinthe, providing extra notes that mingle subtly with the exceptional DuVallon fennel, bringing both roundness and a marvelous bouquet that settles down in the mouth and lasts forever....

A real eye-opener, to be tasted as a matter of priority!

------2016 batch: Only 24 bottles available.------

La Ptite absinthe is mellow and beautifully well-balanced. A high quality “Bleue”.

It is produced from an original recipe, already used illegally before legalisation. This recipe has been updated since it was developed in 1898.
La P'tite is distilled by an artisan in old clandestine stills.
It is based on 12 plants grown and carefully selected in the Val-de-Travers.

An absinthe with character!
