We are always looking for ways to pass on all the knowledge we gain through our work. Therefore, we will start publishing a monthly newsletter, that will introduce one of the distilleries, where we get our absinthes from. The stories will contain pictures, interviews and a lot of background information about each one of them. This will be extremely interesting, because many of these distilleries have been around for centuries, and most of them are still family run.
In order for us to gather the right information together, we have to be at the distilleries! This is why we took a short trip to Fougerolles, France, on Friday, and visited two local distilleries: Lemercier Freres and Paul Devoille.
I am not going to go into too much detail here (otherwise, the newsletter would be worthless!), but you can take a look at a couple of first pictures here:
This is a family run distillery, founded in 1811. Amongst absinthe, they also distill Eaux-de-vie.

We shouldn’t disturb him!

We carry the following absinthes of Lemercier Freres:
Another family-run distillery with long tradition. These days however, Paul Devoille is run by a different family. Their range of absinthes is fairly big and the absinthes offered vary from each other.
Amongst absinthe, the Paul Devoille distillery also produces Eaux-de-vie.
Fancy a drink? Inside the distillery-shop you can taste some of their absinthes before buying.

We carry quite a few of their absinthes, for example:
This was a little taste of what you can expect from our upcoming monthly newsletter. Additionally, we will select one absinthe of the “Distillery of the Month”, on which you will be able to get a 10% discount.
If you haven’t signed up for our newsletter yet, you should do so now!
