Absinthe Cocktail: “Green Fairy”

Which name sounds more suitable for an absinthe cocktail, than „green fairy“? Amazing.


Here is what you need and how to make it:

3cl absinthe (why not use Absinthe La Coquette?)

3cl water

2 bar spoons of egg white

1 dash of Angostura bitters

1 lemon

Squeeze the lemon and let the juice drip into your cocktail shaker. Add all the other ingredients, and some ice cubes. Shake it well, and slowly pour it into your cocktail glass through a dripper, so the lemon bits won’t drop into your glass.

3cl Absinthe (we suggest Absinthe Valkyria to go with this cocktail)

2cl Cassis

1 Dash of lemon juice

Some soda or lemonade to fill up your glass

How to mix it:

Simply add the absinthe, cassis and lemon juice together with some crushed ice to a cocktail or longdrink glass. Fill the glass up to the top with either soda or lemonade, depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have got.
