Vermouth La Quintinye Blanc is a traditional French vermouth with a modern twist. Master distiller and oenologist Jean Sébastien Robicquet combines high quality regional wines with the regional liqueur wine Pineau des Charentes to produce this vermouth. White Pineau is stored for 18 months, of which at least 12 months in oak barrels in order to unfold its full aroma.

La Quintinye Blanc is made with 18 botanicals, such as wormwood, angelica, ginger, cinchona and rare grape vine blossom.

A delicious sweet white vermouth with floral notes and a slightly bitter touch.

This vermouth was named after the botanist Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye who made the famous kitchen garden of the palace of Versailles for Louis XIV. The bottle label shows the Fleur de Lys, the symbol of the French kings. This is surrounded by botanical drawings in the style of the 16th century. The motifs are the ingredients of La Quintinye such as wormwood, vine blossom, iris root and angelica.

Very unique and high quality vermouth.

It has beautifully pronounced wine taste with strong, herbal, slightly medical notes. There is no much sugar but it is not bitter, very drinkable and pretty nice balanced. It has less citrus peels than other typical Italian style vermouths letting other herbs shine. The wormwood notes here are the most strong I have ever tasted.
