An old-style aromatic sweet red vermouth. Sublime. If you love Antica Formula, this one is for you. Read the whole description
Yzaguirre Selección 1884 is a jewel, and is fantastic appreciated by itself, chilled. It makes a wonderful Negroni: Stir together equal parts 1884 Vermouth, red Italian bitters and Gin with some icecubes, and straining into a glass. We recommend using IRIS Gin for the gin, and Bitter Nardini for the italian bitters.
Or a Manhattan: 1 measure Yzaguirre 1884 + 2 measures Kyrö Rye Whisky + a few drops of aromatic cocktail bitters. Stir together in a mixing glass and serve by straining into a tumbler or a stemmed martini glass, garnished with a cocktail cherry.
