In Stock
Coffee is very big in Mexico. So is their traditional way of preparing it: Simmer the beans inside a clay pot over a wood fire. The same procedure is used to create the Dr. Sours #2 Bitters. Made from high quality Mexican coffee beans, Dr. Sours added cinnamon, spiced caramel, roasted cacao and vanilla to the mix.
The Dr. Sours Cocktail bitters are unique across the wide range of Bitters. All handmade in Mexico, the producers use Mezcal as a base, which adds a unique and smoky flavour to all of their essences.
How to enjoy Dr. Sours #2: These Cocktail bitters add a refreshing taste to classic cocktail recipes such as the Sazerac or the Manhattan. They go great with barrel aged spirits as well.

The inspiration for creating the first handcrafted, all natural Mexican bitters was the bemonocled feline featured on the labels. He is a mysterious figure who hides behind the pseudonym of Dr. Sours. All that is known about him is that he has a fine nose, and like many cats, is picky about gastronomy. Industrial drinks are a no-no.
