“Nopal” is the name of a very popular Mexican salad recipe. It uses cactus paddles which ad a juicy and rich flavour. Dr. Sours adapted this recipe for these herbal and fruity Bitters. Sun-dried tomatoes, oregano and cumin add a rich and earthy balance to the Dr. Sours #4 Bitters.
All Bitters at Dr. Sours are made by hand using only natural and herbs and ingredients. Their signature taste is definitely their smoky aroma which is derived from using Mezcal as base alcohol.
How to enjoy Dr. Sours #4: With its subtly sweet after-taste, the Dr. Sours #4 Bitters add a great fresh twist to Corpse Revivers, Martinis and Margaritas.

The inspiration for creating the first handcrafted, all natural Mexican bitters was the bemonocled feline featured on the labels. He is a mysterious figure who hides behind the pseudonym of Dr. Sours. All that is known about him is that he has a fine nose, and like many cats, is picky about gastronomy. Industrial drinks are a no-no.
