Mondino Amaro Stagionato is a barrel-aged herbal liqueur, produced Traunstein, in Bavaria in the South of Germany.
This organic liqueur is a special edition that has been aged for almost one year in oak casks. The barrel aging allows the herbs to develop their character even better and emphasizes the caramel notes.
Mondino Stagionato is a perfect balanced amaro with notes of rhubarb, bitter oranges and vanilla. A handmade aperitif that is bottled and labeled by hand.
The distiller of Mondino learnt the art of liqueur making in the 1960s in Italy. That is where he got the recipe for Mondino. Max used the family recipe from his grandfather to produce this Bavarian Amaro together with his friends Ferdinand, Florian and Benedikt.
